This year our Yr 8 Humanities classes saved water and raised nearly $1500 in the process for a charity working with rural villages in Kenya. This money is going towards an eco toilet block in a isolated primary school.
Our MS Service Committee learned how to knit just to help out prem babies at our local hospitals - with a range of beanies being donated this month!

The Yr 9 Lucas Creek project is well underway and students from 9JSO are finding ways to improve the water quality in our school stream. Students are working with Sophie from Whitebait Connection.

Yr 10 Community Project students Sophia, Emily and Shirley have collected over 1100 batteries this term for recycling! An awesome efforting making a real difference to our environment!
An amazing effort by ALL Yr 8 students, doing a market day to raise funds for Duffy Books in Homes, where Kristin is now sponsoring Waioneke School so that their children can access books every year.
The Yr 8 market day was a huge success and raised over $3500 for varies service projects - including Waioneke School Duffy Book programme. All of Yr 8 give up their time and talents to raise the funds - well done!
Last year our Yr 10 Library Leadership team collected 2000 books for Rise Up Academy. Here is a shot of the library space now up and open! An awesome addition to the school.

Our MS leadersship team performed a lovely concert for a grateful crowd at the Lady Allum Village this week - we have a strong connection with this community.
