The new Sustainabiliity Council here at Kristin met with the Enviro group at Pinehurst School today, to discuss environmental issues both our schools face and talk with Morag Vasilaki from Auckland Council Enviroschools programme.
The Yr 9 Lucas Creek project is well underway and students from 9JSO are finding ways to improve the water quality in our school stream. Students are working with Sophie from Whitebait Connection.
Yr 10 Community Project students Sophia, Emily and Shirley have collected over 1100 batteries this term for recycling! An awesome efforting making a real difference to our environment!
